This is my beautiful cousin Hannah from Austria. Her and her family moved to New Zealand for one year and are currently living near Motueka. They're close to the end of their stay here so I thought I'd take the opportunity to photograph Hannah.

She's a dancer and does gymnastics, so it was really fun getting her to do flips and jumping splits for this shoot. Aswell as just being generally gorgeous, so of course I had to get some natural portraits of her aswell. Those eyes... staring right into your soul.

More images coming soon on my facebook page Maniana's Creations.

Behind the Scenes: Collaboration with Sunnie and Gabrielle. Photos by Isaac.

Here's a few behind the scenes shots that Isaac took during our 'Sun and Moon' photoshoot, when Gabrielle Wee photographed Sunnie and I down by the Takaka river. I thought these were just too cute not to share! This adventure was so much fun, I couldn't ask for better people to collaborate with. I hope you enjoy these shots, I'll post the rest soon on my personal facebook page.

See some of Gabrielle's original photos of us here and my photos of Sunnie here.

Sundari for Inspirall Magazine

It was absolutely wonderful to reconnect with my childhood friend Sundari the other day. I was lucky enough to collaborate with her for three different projects in one week! First we modeled together for 'Wandering Spirits' by Summah Noakes and then on the same day as this shoot Gabrielle Wee photographed us for 'Sun and Moon.' I still can't believe we managed to get everything done, to this standard, within such a short amount of time with the sun disappearing so quickly.

Thanks so much Isaac for transporting us to the location, as usual I couldn't do this without him. We've sent Sunnie an interview which she is currently in the process of writing answers to for our online magazine Inspirall. The rest of these photos will be up on our website along with the article when it's published.

Sunnie left a few days after this to begin her adventures overseas. If you want see what she's up to now you can follow her on Instagram @sunniezuleta. She's also a very talented photographer and one of the best models I've had, so if you ever get the chance to work with her - go for it! I couldn't be happier with the images from this shoot I can't wait to share the rest with you. My only regret is that I didn't spend more time with this incredible woman before she left. I wish her all the best on her travels and can't wait to catch up when she returns!

'Sun and Moon' Modeling for Gabrielle Wee

What can I say? Collaborating with these two lovely ladies was amazing, yet again! It was totally spontaneous aswell because Gabrielle had asked if she could join me photographing Sundari, who was leaving in a few days. And then I also ended up modeling - aswell as being behind the camera - that day.

I really liked it when Gabrielle posted one of these shots and called it 'Sun and Moon.' I feel like that fits us perfectly. We compliment eachother - she has glowing tanned skin and beachy blond hair (also her name is literally Sunnie) and I'm sort-of pale, luminescent, and curvy.

We only had two hours to do both photoshoots and the light was disappearing fast. I think sometimes the best things happen when you have limitations like that. Cheers Isaac for assisting and doing some behind the scenes photography, which I shall post soon aswell...

'Wandering Spirits' Modeling for Summah Noakes

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of collaborating with three talented young woman for this photoshoot titled 'Wandering Spirits' by Summah Noakes. Modeling alongside me is Sunnie Zuleta and Gabrielle Wee, who are also both amazing photographers.

We gathered at the Wainui Falls carpark in our beautiful hometown, Golden Bay, and slowly made our way up to the falls. Stopping many times to get shots of us chilling on the huge boulders and playing in the trees.

Massive thanks to Isaac for driving us there and assisting on the shoot, and to Summah's mum, Marama, for bringing her all the way from Nelson just for the day.

I had so much fun modeling for this project! You guys were a dream to work with! Don't forget to check out Summah Noakes Photography to see the rest of the images in this series.
